Pick-Up Service

The University of Amsterdam offers a pick-up service from Schiphol (Amsterdam airport) on the following day:

  • Wednesday, 1 February

From Schiphol, a shuttle bus will go to the housing corporations De Key and DUWO. The bus will not stop at other destinations.

Busses will be departing at regular intervals from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. These times have been chosen to make sure you reach the housing corporations during opening hours. If you arrive very early in the morning, our advice is to have coffee or breakfast at the airport while you wait, and then make use of the pick-up service when it begins since the housing corporations will be closed before that time.

Cost: €15

You need to sign up for the pick-up service in advance.

To sign up, please send an email to immigration-sts@uva.nl with the following information:

  • First name
  • Surname
  • Email address
  • Arrival date (only available 1 February)
  • Arrival time
  • Student number

You will receive a confirmation email with more detailed information within two days after signing up.
