General schedule of the Master programme Physics

The academic year starts in week 36 and consists of two semesters. Each semester has two blocks of eight weeks followed by a third block of four weeks. In general, exams are scheduled after fourteen or seven weeks of lectures. 

Schedules 2011/2012

To inspect the schedules of the MSc Physics programme you can use the tools of both the UvA and the VU university:

UvA Schedules (see link below): 

  • Click  "Programme" 
  • Select "Graduate School of Sciences'' Select "Master Physics" and the track you are interested in
  • Select the period you are interested in and click "View Timetable"

VU Schedules (see link below):

  • Select Group 
  • Select "Faculteit Exacte Wetenschappen"; Select Research variant" and track you are interested in
  • Select the period you are interested in and click "View Timetable"
