The Master European Union in a Global Order is organised by the Graduate School of Social Sciences of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Amsterdam.

The academic staff of this programme is actively involved in research most of them at UvA's Amsterdam Institute of Social Science Research (AISSR).

Dr Otto Holman

Dr Otto Holman is the Programme Director of the Master's programme in the European Union in a Global Order.

Otto Holman studied Political Science and International Relations at the University of Amsterdam, where he also obtained his PhD. He is reader in International Relations and European Integration Studies in the Department of Political Science and member of the Amsterdam School for Social Science Research (ASSR), both at the University of Amsterdam. Previous appointments include: visiting lecturer at the University of Antwerpen; Staff member of the Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy; and visiting professor at the University of Lausanne (Fall 2009-2010-2011).

Dr. Stephanie Simon

Dr. Stephanie Simon is Academic Adviser of the Master's programme European Union in a Global Order.

Stephanie Simon is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Politics and the Transnational Configurations, Conflict and Governance' research group of the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR) at the University of Amsterdam.
