European Union in a Global Order (MSc)

Programme outline

This programme starts in September. The curriculum consists of one core course, two electives and a research project. The choice of courses is subject to the approval of the academic adviser. Fulfilling the requirements should take one year of full-time study. Students who need to complete a deficiency programme will require more time, the amount of which will depend on the extra requirements to be fulfilled.

Thesis

The research project (worth 30 ECTS credits) consists of:

  • a seminar;
  • primary and secondary research;
  • a written thesis.

The final Master's thesis is a report on research carried out by the student as part of the research project. The thesis should be between 20,000 and 25,000 words long.

Degree requirements

A Master of Science in Political Science degree is awarded upon successful completion of both the course requirements and a written master's thesis (60 ECTS credits in total).
