Computational Science (MSc)

Specific entry requirements

  1. Applicants should have an academic bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, the natural sciences (such as physics, chemistry, biology, etc), or engineering disciplines (such as civil engineering, biomedical engineering, aerospace engineering, etc.);
  2. Applicants should demonstrate sufficient mathematical skills and a basic background in modelling and simulation, and should have demonstrated programming ability;
  3. Applicants are expected to have an above average grade point average.

We will also consider students that (slightly) deviate from the requirements as formulated above. These students will require an intake meeting before we approve admission. We emphasise motivation in all such admissions and require a statement on motivation as a part of the admissions procedure.

Additional entry requirements for international students

Students from outside the Netherlands must also fulfil additional requirements regarding academic background (university ranking), grade point average (GPA) and proficiency in English.
