Here you will find details about the information sessions at the Faculty of Science (FNWI).
The Faculty of Science (FNWI) is one of the largest and most comprehensive science faculties in the Netherlands. The brand new faculty building is located right in the centre of the innovative Science Park Amsterdam. There are over twenty Master’s programmes offered, which include various specialisations (‘tracks’).
Information sessions
The information sessions about the Master's programmes will be held from: 11:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 15:00.
Many Master's programmes offer two sessions, which enables you to visit several sessions in one day.
NO information sessions for Chemistry (for WO bachelors!; there IS a session for HBO bachelors), Physics/Astronomy or Mathematical Masters
There are no information sessions for the Master's programmes mentioned above, but you can speak to students of these programmes at the information market of the Faculty of Science.
If you'd rather speak with the coordinator of the programme of your choice, please contact them by email; you can find the contact adresses on the webpages of the Master's programmes.
And if you'd like to accompany a MSc student for a day, please register via meet-the-msc@uva.nl.
Lunch programme
12:00 - 14:00
In between Master's sessions, you are invited to the Information Fair where you can hear about experiences from a current MSc student, or take a (lab)tour.
12:30 - 13:30
During the break there are general information sessions about the professional specialisation programmes.
Please note that you have to register for these sessions as well.
