Career prospects
Religious Studies (MA)
The one-year Master's programme in Religious Studies prepares students for a career in teaching, journalism or any of the other writing professions, as well as for advisory and managerial positions in public organisations or government institutions.
It also provides students with the basic knowledge and skills that will enable them to pursue a professional career at the academic level in any of the diverse fields of research or general education, particularly where the study of religion is involved.
Research
Graduates can also opt to continue their studies in the Research Master in Religious Studies, which offers an excellent opportunity for those interested in pursuing a PhD in the field. Students who have completed one of the tracks of the one-year Master in Religious Studies are usually able to complete the two-year Research Master in one year.
