Graduates in New Media and Digital Culture have the critical faculties, skills and outlook that will enable them to pursue a career in media or the creative and cultural industries, and to offer input at the conceptual level.
New media researchers are in demand in a variety of industries and sectors, as each comes to terms with the importance of an advanced Web presence or the special skills necessary to work with the Internet. In the past, graduates have also started their own new media businesses and gone on to work for governmental and non-governmental organisations. In addition, advanced students can pursue academic careers in research and teaching.
