UvA map

The UvA is not concentrated on one campus but located in buildings all over Amsterdam. Use the UvA map to view the University's locations.

University Library

The University has an extensive University Library.

Computers

The UvA offers a wide range of digital facilities to students, including computers which they can use for free and free email accounts.

CREA, the UvA's cultural student organisation

At CREA you can take courses in many subjects including drama, drawing, painting, video, and music. There is also a bar and a theatre.

Where can I learn Dutch, English and other languages?

University Sports Centre

Ice skating, tennis, rowing, aerobics, swimming, dancing, golf and even skiing. The USC offers over 50 sports activities at discount rates for UvA students and staff.

Nurseries

The UvA used to have its own nurseries which are now independent, but students of the UvA can still place their child there. In addition, there are scores of other nurseries in Amsterdam.
