I began my studies in Economics in my country at the Bolivian Catholic University but later obtained a bachelor's degree at the University of Amsterdam UvA. Presently, I am completing the MSc programme in Economics at the UvA.

I chose my career because of its scientific approach to describe human behavior. Keeping this in mind, I spent a lot of time searching for the best Economics faculties in Europe through the web. The UvA always turned up in my searches as a renowned and highly ranked university, making it my definite first choice.

Once I arrived to Amsterdam, I found it to be a beautiful and compact city where you can find a lot of help for students. The whole city becomes the university's campus.

The courses at UvA were of great benefit to me because of the expertise in teaching and the outstanding academic level of the teachers. I even keep my lecture notes for future reference. On top of this, I have always found a cooperative environment between professors and students at the Faculty of Economics and Business. I could literally drop by any office of renowned professors and ask for their help.

Currently, I have already been accepted in several PhD programs in the United States and I will continue a career in research and academia. For all this, I thank the UvA for giving me the best education I could get allowing me to reach the goals I have always pursued.
